Gift Cards and Store Credit

Version v2026-10-31 · Last updated 31 October 2026

These terms apply to Ashton Care gift cards and to store credit in your wallet in the Ashton Care: Quiet Nights app and on ashton-care.com.au. Gift cards and store credit are issued by BCO GROUP LLC (5142 Monaco Dr, Apt D, Pleasanton, CA 94566, USA), the seller of Ashton Care products, which is responsible for honouring them. They work together with our Terms of Sale (https://ashton-care.com.au/terms-of-sale).

1. Your wallet

Your wallet shows your store credit and any gift card balances you have added to your account, with a history of what was added and spent.

2. Gift cards

  • Buying. You can buy an Ashton Care digital gift card in the app or on our website. Payment is processed by Stripe. We email the gift card code to you or to the recipient you choose, on the date you choose.
  • Expiry. Every gift card is valid for at least 3 years from the date it is bought, as Australian law requires. The expiry date is shown on the gift card email and in the wallet.
  • Fees. There are no fees to buy, hold or use a gift card.
  • Using it. Add the code to your wallet or enter it at checkout. The balance can be used on Ashton Care products bought in the app or on our website, across one or more orders. If an order costs more than the balance, you pay the rest by card.
  • Not refundable. Gift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, except where the law requires (for example, if the gift card is faulty or was not delivered).
  • Keep the code safe. A gift card works like cash: anyone with the code can redeem it. We are not responsible for a code that is lost or used by someone else, unless that happened because of our error. If you think your code has been misused, contact us straight away and we will help where we can.
  • Once added to a wallet, a gift card balance belongs to that account and cannot be moved to another account.

3. Store credit

  • How you get it. Store credit can come from the referral program (A$5 per successful referral), from a refund where you chose store credit instead of a refund to your card, or from a goodwill gesture or promotion we tell you about.
  • Using it. Store credit can be used on Ashton Care products bought in the app or on our website. It is applied at checkout and you pay any balance by card.
  • Expiry. Referral and promotional credit expires 30 days after it is issued. The expiry date is shown in your wallet and in the email telling you about the credit, and any unused amount is removed after that date. Credit from a refund you chose to take as credit does not expire while your account is open.
  • Credit is not a gift card. Store credit is a free reward or a refund choice, not something you paid for as a gift card, so the 3-year gift card rule does not apply to it.
  • No cash value. Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred to another account.
  • Abuse. We may remove credit that was obtained by fraud, error or by breaking our Referral Program Terms.

4. What gift cards and credit cannot be used for

  • Amazon.com.au orders
  • Quiet Nights Plus subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play
  • Buying other gift cards

5. Refunds of orders paid with a gift card or credit

If you return or cancel an order that you paid for with a gift card or store credit, that part of the refund goes back to your wallet. Gift card balances refunded to your wallet keep their original expiry date or, if later, the expiry required by law.

6. Closing your account

If you delete your account, any store credit and gift card balance in your wallet is lost and cannot be recovered. Please use your balance first, or contact [email protected] before deleting and we will help. Unredeemed gift card codes that have not been added to a wallet are not affected by account deletion and stay valid until they expire.

7. Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the gift card rules in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
