Quiet Nights competition rules

1. Promoter and prize supplier

The promoter is Becato LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, publisher of the Quiet Nights app. Prizes are supplied by BCO Group LLC, owner of the Ashton Care brand. Contact: [email protected].

2. The competitions

There are two monthly competitions inside the Quiet Nights app:

• Routine leaderboard: points for completing your bedtime routine.
• Catch the Night: a one-minute skill game.

Each competition runs for one calendar month in Sydney time (AEST/AEDT), starting 00:00 on the 1st and ending 23:59:59 on the last day. The leaderboard in the app shows when the current month ends.

3. Skill only, no chance

Winners are decided only by skill and effort. There is no draw, lottery or random selection. In Catch the Night every player gets the same falling pattern on the same day.

4. Who can play and who can win

Playing in the app is free. Prizes are only for Ashton Care customers: to win a prize you must have bought an Ashton Care product on Amazon.com.au. To receive a prize you must also:

• be an Australian resident aged 18 or over;
• hold one Quiet Nights account only;
• give us the Amazon.com.au order number for your Ashton Care purchase. We check it against our own order records before a prize is sent.

Staff of the promoter and the prize supplier, and their immediate families, cannot win.

5. Routine leaderboard

Points: finishing the evening wind-down 10, morning check-in 10, each night on a 3-night streak +5, each night on a 7-night streak +10, logging a rest night 3. Nights can only be logged on the night. Points count effort, not sleep results.

Prizes each month: 1st A$150, 2nd A$100, 3rd A$50, each as an Amazon.com.au eGift Card. A player needs at least 300 points to win a gift card.

6. Catch the Night game

• One free play a day, plus one extra play for each wind-down and each morning check-in (up to two extra) in the last 24 hours.
• The game has 5 levels. Everyone starts each month at level 1. Reaching the target score in one round unlocks the next level: level 1: 500, level 2: 600, level 3: 600, level 4: 550. Level 5 is the final level.
• The leaderboard ranks players by the highest level reached, then by the best score on that level.
• Only players who reached level 5 can win a game prize.
• Prizes each month: 1st two Ashton Care packs, 2nd one pack, 3rd one pack, 4th to 10th a single-use 20% off discount code for the Ashton Care store on Amazon.com.au. One pack has a recommended retail value of A$19.99 to A$24.99.
• A round only counts if it is played in full in the app. Quitting a round still uses that play.

7. Minimum number of players

A month's prizes for a leaderboard are only awarded if at least 20 players took part in that leaderboard that month. If this minimum, or the minimum score or level above, is not met, that prize is not awarded for that month and does not roll over.

8. Ties

If players are tied, the player who reached that score or total first ranks higher.

9. Winners

Winners are contacted in the app and by email within 7 days after the month ends, and must reply within 14 days with their Amazon.com.au order number and an Australian delivery address. If a winner does not reply in time or is not eligible, the prize goes to the next eligible player. Packs are posted free within Australia. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable we will give one of equal or greater value.

10. Fair play

We may disqualify entries that use cheating, automation, multiple accounts, modified apps or anything else that breaks these rules. A Quiet Nights Plus subscription gives no advantage in any competition.

11. Not sponsored

Apple, Google and Amazon are not sponsors of, and are not involved in any way with, these competitions. Amazon.com.au eGift Cards are subject to Amazon's own terms.

12. Privacy

We use your account name, email and the details you send us only to run the competitions and deliver prizes, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these rules limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. These rules are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
